Firstly, as our small team of 2-3 staff rarely come into contact with other trades, as we are one of the last trades to be engaged in the building or renovating process. We require the building site or home to be clear of all other trades (Social distancing at its best) so that we can start and complete the floor sanding and polishing process. Secondly, due to the creation of dust from sanding and fumes from the floor finishes, our staff wear specific face masks that meet the most stringent Workplace Health and Safety standards to keep them safe, also minimizing any safety concerns for the homeowner. Gloves are also worn due to the nature of our work, also reducing the risk of contact with surfaces within the home. Hand sanitizer is used before entering and after leaving all jobs.
