The Australian Timber Flooring Association is the peak body for timber floors and timber flooring representing floor sanding and polishing contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers nationwide.
ATFA is a member-based timber flooring association that provides information and services to its members and the community. To floor sanding members the ATFA provides training programs, up to date technical data, and access to industry professionals. ATFA also provides to members ATFA magazines and regular electronic bulletins.
ATFA has an accreditation system that reflects the credentials of its members. This is based on a number of elements including professional development, product and equipment knowledge, industry experience, ATFA training, industry events, and qualifications.
The accreditation system is a point-based system where members must demonstrate their points for any given level to retain or increase it annually. There are seven levels in the accreditation system. Budget Floor Sanding holds the top level of seven.
