The following prices are indicative of the rates charged by Budget Floor Sanding for floor sanding and polishing. These floor sanding costs are for work in the Brisbane area. Our aim is to provide a quality, economy floor sanding service at reasonable prices. We do not aim to be cheap or the cheapest, at the end of the day you get what you pay for.
A typical reasonably presented pine or hardwood floor will be sanded and polished with 3 coats of polyurethane for around $33 to $34/m2 including GST. If the floor is a new secret nailed floor then the rate will be more like $42 to $43M2 including GST.
A normal set of stairs either new or previously polished will be sanded and polished for around $900.00 including GST.
Outdoor decking is another common part of our work. Budget Floor Sanding chooses to finish the decks mainly with Sikkens Deck although other products such as Intergrain Ultradeck or decking oil can also be used. To sand and finish with 3 coats of Sikkens Deck will be priced at around $44/m2 including GST.
