One of the timber floors sanded and polished this week was a fairly typical job for Budget Floor Sanding. Because the wooden floors in the entire house were done, the owners needed to vacate the house. They coincided this with a holiday and the work was completed while they were away, keys for the property are left in trust with Budget Floor Sanding.
The entire interior floor space was sanded and polished in a satin polyurethane finish. The floors were mainly Queensland hoop pine, however, there was also some hardwood flooring in areas where the house has been extended. The satin floor finish works well with old Queenslander style homes.
The L shaped front veranda was also sanded and finished with a Sikkens Deck coating. This results in an attractive looking low sheen appearance.
