Tasmanian Oak flooring is a commonly found timber used in contemporary housing. It is actually a combination of three Eucalypt species commonly found in Tasmania. Together they produce a blend of beautiful colors from pale cream to pink and reddish-brown. The natural color variation is a feature of this timber species.
The attached photo shows the result of re-sanding and polishing a Tasmanian oak floor at Manly, Brisbane. This house has been undergoing a renovation and the wooden floors and stairs were in need of being sanded and polished again. After floor sanding and polishing, Budget Floor Sanding was able to once again present the floor as it would have been when the timber floors were originally polished. This is one of the great advantages of wooden floors, the fact that they can on a number of occasions be sanded and polished to once again present them as attractive-looking natural floors.
