Polished Cypress Pine Timber Floor
This week Budget Floor Sanding re-sanded and polished the Cypress Pine wooden flooring in a house at Everton Park. Cypress Pine timber is a softwood timber species that has colors ranging from light yellow to orange to light brown. Its grain is very straight and has numerous tight knots. It contains natural resins which make the timber very durable.
The timber floors in this house had been polished years before and were in need of a facelift. By sanding the floor again and removing the old coating the floors were then able to be re-polished with three coats of a polyurethane gloss finish. The timber stairs were also polished again.
As is often the case the owners needed to vacate the house during the work and went away on a short break. Upon their return, the comment was made regarding how fantastic the floors looked and how much they were enjoying standing back and looking at them.
